Leonie Bryant's Corner of Lemuria - Hermitage Art
The Hermitage Art Room attracts travellers from all over the world who have travelled with Sibyl, a twenty first century Enchanteur, who take pilgrims along the Soul Food Silk Road. The Art Room is just one of the sanctuaries where travellers have rested their weary bones. This was Leonie Bryant's (1942 - 2006) realm and her favourite place on the Silk Road. She is still here with us.

These images of animals are very good, who knows? Book illustrations next? They aren't easy to do at all. It's just great.
I started with Pegasus and then turned him into a crocodile horse. The image was small and then I thought they could be like minatures on Baba's table. The animals at least look like animals. I don't think Graeme Base who did Animalia will have to worry about me taking his limelight however.
Now don't think I am putting myself down Leonie but my imagination still exceeds my ability to execute in drawing. This looks better on the net than it does in reality. I did a bit of a kill job on it because I am determined to use defined perspective - by setting up a landscape first - and then adding things. I agree though that her room does look fascinating.
