The Hermitage Art Room attracts travellers from all over the world who have travelled with Sibyl, a twenty first century Enchanteur, who take pilgrims along the Soul Food Silk Road. The Art Room is just one of the sanctuaries where travellers have rested their weary bones. This was Leonie Bryant's (1942 - 2006) realm and her favourite place on the Silk Road. She is still here with us.

The Crest Hermitage is a Nature Store stocking a wide variety of magnificent nature cards, prints, magnets and other merchandise. It features the work of Monika Roleff.

Heather, you have sdone an outstanding job of Leonie's room, I marvel at your energies with your plate already so full. Certainly no one could ever question your passion. You're a truly remarkable lady.
Thank you Aletta. I have been deeply touched by the fact that Leonie's family have taken the time to let me know how much Soul Food meant to her. Tonight I talked to her daughter again and she has told me that the family have gained comfort from knowing that their mother grew artistically and creatively in her final years. Creating a beautiful room is a small thing I can do. And everyone, especially Monika, has been helping so much. Every contribution is making the room richer by the moment.
