Leonie Bryant's Corner of Lemuria - Hermitage Art
The Hermitage Art Room attracts travellers from all over the world who have travelled with Sibyl, a twenty first century Enchanteur, who take pilgrims along the Soul Food Silk Road. The Art Room is just one of the sanctuaries where travellers have rested their weary bones. This was Leonie Bryant's (1942 - 2006) realm and her favourite place on the Silk Road. She is still here with us.

my goodness Gail! This is simply stunning. Wow!
Thank you, Heather - that means so much to me!
this is terrific. What brand of watercolour pencils do you use? I have some but haven't tried them out yet. Now I feel inspired to have a go
This is powerful and SEXY!
I used Faber Castel pencils - normally I prefer Derwent, but I just wanted to try them out, and they are so beautiful to work with that I am going to try more of FC's products now.
I use Faber Castel too Gail. I tried Prism but the leads kept breaking. Derwents are good too but Faber Castel rock. And I agree with Karen. The Lord is very SEXY
Well done, Gail, the athmosphere from the drawing is palpable.
I love my Faber aquarelle crayons, the pencils might be more exact in doing detail but I can use a brush and mix paint direct on [alette or paper and I don't miss the watercolour tubes one bit, my hands got to the point wher I needed help opening and closing them. That messes considewrably with the process. Again, Gail, wondefullu executed.
